Creating your own product has many advantages. For starters, the self satisfaction you get from making something unique is priceless. But the greatest advantage is that you can do anything you want with it. Give your content away, sell it or even create your own affiliate program – the choice is yours.
The disadvantage of creating your own product comes in the form of time. Unless you are knowledgeable and well versed about the topic of your product, generating content will eat up valuable time that could be better utilized somewhere else in your autoresponder campaign.

“What can I make” you ask? Well, one of the most popular products today are eBooks. You don’t even need to buy publishing software to make one. After you are done writing, adding images and editing, all you have to do is convert your document into a PDF file.
If your eBook is has a ton of information, you might even consider turning it into an eCourse. Now instead of using your autoresponder to send out one copy, you send out multiple emails over a period of time providing progressive installments.
The advantages of sending out smaller segments of content is your recipient will not get bored from a long read and eventually move on to something else. This way your content is being put in front their face over a period of time. They can digest the information easily and each time they receive an update, they will be reminded about your blog.
